Join us at Vernon Jubilee Hospital, where you’ll oversee adult inpatient care and support surgical and psychiatric services. You’ll find a range of clinical pathology that keeps every day fresh. Importantly, we do not provide MRP care for pediatric, ICU, or obstetrical patients.
Our team thrives on strong communication and teamwork. You’ll work closely with allied health professionals and have easy access to onsite specialists, including General Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Psychiatry, Anesthesia, Radiology, Urology, and Oncology. For more complex cases, you’ll play a key role in coordinating consultations and transfers to Kelowna General Hospital and Vancouver General Hospital for advanced care.
We embrace electronic documentation, ensuring efficient handovers and clear patient management. Engage with our local University of British Columbia-Okanagan medical undergraduate and family residency programs, providing exciting opportunities to mentor and teach the next generation of physicians. You’ll also have the chance to lead Physician Quality Improvement (PQI) initiatives, directly contributing to innovation and continuous improvement in patient care.
We offer a 1.0 Full-Time Equivalent hospitalist position with an annual income of $314,795, with part-time options available.
