DOCUMENTATION WORKING GROUP COMMITTEE:
The VJH hospitalist department indicated that a documentation working group is required to take ownership of documentation practices and provide guidance on how to improve documentation.
If you are interested, please sign up by completing this form.
The documentation working group can build on what we have started with The PEN Project or steer the group in a new direction that leads to improvement. The goal behind this committee is to gather input from all hospitalists and work as a team to enhance and improve documentation within the hospitalist group at VJH. The chair of this committee will also work closely with the Vernon Technology Group (Dr. Schreve, Dr. Poulin and Casey Hewes) which is connected with the IHA Digital Health Redesign Team.
Your focus will be to develop solutions that aligns with IHA Strategic planning as well as PA values in terms of creating high-quality documentation and standardization for:
1. History and Physical
2. Progress Note
3. Handover Note
4. Discharge Summary (with Dr Jordan Koopmans)
5. Consultation Note
